From Tokyo to Paris

I just discovered Kahori Maki's illustrations that are detailed and wonderful in a dark and goth kind of way.  She is a Japanese-born internationaly educated illustrator and artist born in 1969
Kahori works for magazines (Elle, Vogue, Nylon...), fashion brands (Chanel, Levi's, Comme des Garçons,Vogue Nippon...) and others projects. Her pieces with flower seem really vivid, almost jumping out as she magnificently balances the contrast between the black and thee white.
I really like her work even if normally I don't really appreciate works that are only in black and white.

Bonus:

J'ai été déçue par Alice aux pays des Merveilles que j'ai vu hier. Les effets spéciaux sont certes magiques mais l'histoire ne tient pas debout et dès le début on sait la fin de l'histoire ce qui est vraiment dommage. On est tous sorti avec un mal de tête fou à cause des lunettes 3D. xxx Margot

A cette époque Carine n'était pas encore très connue. Le shooting avec de la viande donne un effet un peu choc et rend  Eva Herzigova très sensuelle.
